Meet the Business Owner:
Hello, I’m Angela, Owner and operator of WolfChild Designs. I started sewing for profit in 2005, but didn’t really start working it as a business until 2012. I started out in my small apartment and have grown some since then. My personal sewing career started when I was 15 years old in Los Angeles, CA. I took an elective class for sewing in high school, tough the local trade school. The first sewing I ever did was on an industrial sewing machine that could sew about 1200 stitch per minute. To give you an idea of how fast that is, a home sewing machine runs about 400-600 stitches per minute. After high school, I went back to that same trade school and finished their Apparel Design program with a certificate of completion in 2001.
Established in 2005.
I always wanted to sew, ever since I was a child. I went to school for apparel design right out of high school. I recieved a certification in Apparel design in 2001. From there I started sewing for friend and family, everything from hemming pants to making costumes. In 2005 after a personal tragedy, I decided that I was going to make my sewing a business. Though out the years I’ve not only worked for others sewing miscellaneous but I also created my own designs that I sell in my shop on Etsy.com. In 2012, my business grew dramatically when I met my business partner. He invested in better equipment and provided me with a much larger working area, the residential garage space that I currently occupy. Right now I’m on the verge of expansion once more! I’m hoping to move my business into a commercial space by the end of the year.
I’m a contract seamstress who provides sewing services for all kinds of projects. From simple alterations to completely custom one of a kind projects. Clothing, upholstery, costumes, and more! If you think it can be sewn, I can help you!
